I’m stoked to be representing my TV show format ‘Green’ at this year’s SerieSeries festival in Fontainebleau. Our format trailer is an official selection in the ‘Spotlight on Trailers’ category. I co-developed Green with Dave Damon and Barend van Balen of Infocus productions, and wrote the trailer which was directed by Elwin Bes. Green is a darkly comic crime show based around coffeeshop (hashbar) ‘Green’ in Amsterdam. Its owner, retired criminal Jack Groen loves his regulars and his shop, but is he cut out for this life? A question he will be forced to answer when a turf war for control of the drug trade in Amsterdam brings his old life back to haunt him – will he stay out and does he really want to?
